THE PROJECT

The focus of the MP4MA Roadmap is to build a regional, multi-sector group of stakeholders who would help increase and diversify investment in infrastructure and energy. The goal is to build up the Ohio Valley and Upper Appalachia region in becoming a global leader in resources for cleaner energy and circular economy practices.

RESULTS

The city of Pittsburgh won second place in the International Climate Challenge Cup’s “Achieving Net Zero” category for its Marshall Plan for Middle America.

This project was in collaboration with design firm Hey Design Guy and Jamie Karpinksi through the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Sustainable Business.
